Heading out on Milton tonight. Any suggestion are welcome. I believe we will be trying for Smallies and Large mouth bass. I will post whatever we do hook into.

Bit of an update, Thursday night we spent the day mainly going about the lake checking out the cover and so forth. We did do a bit of fishing with catching a couple smallmouths on the southwest side of the lake between some boat docks. Friday we went out again at night and ventured up to the north end starting at the dam and working our way back to mahoning ramp. Managed to snag a few largemouths, a walleye and a cat fish on which I got with a crankbait.

Going to try again tonight if the weather permits. I will post the pics we have when I get a chance.

Went out last night and did alright. Pulled in a couple largemouth another catfish and some walleye. They have some odd catfish up here..never caught so many on a crankbait before, possibly nesting and I am getting a defensive bite from them. :prt:

I have talked to my fishin buddy about Mosquito and I think that is where we are headed today. Will post update later.

Took the advice and headed out on Mosquito. It was a very good decision. We headed to the west side of the lake and did some topwater fishing with a Pop R, plow jockey and a buzzbait. Both top waters produced some little largemouths and we all decided topwater was it. swapping to 2 of us using white mice and the 3rd using a pop r. found a nice deeper cove with lots of weed cover and we managed to get into some nice size bass. Notably my 3 lb 15 oz ( so close i call it 4 lb lol ) on white mouse, one buddy caught another on a mouse weighing 2 lbs 4 oz and the third guy on pop r caught one at 2 lbs 1 oz.
